The space

Sitting on the edge of Elliot Lake and the great Ontario Northern wilderness, The Phoenix House offers the entire main floor available to all guests. Please feel free to make yourself at home.

This newly renovated semi detached property is like no other in Elliot Lake. It’s a special place filled with exciting features from the moment you walk in the door.

If you love to cook, you’ll love this well equipped kitchen with convection oven, induction cook top, and more! We even remembered the InstantPot! Designed to be spacious and comfortable while cooking and cleanup, no matter how many cooks there might be in the kitchen. (Hint: if you’ve ever wanted to do a cooking video, this is the kitchen you’ll want to give it a try!)

The cozy living room area offers a great space to just sit and veg while binge watching Netflix or other favourite streaming channels on Roku.

The dining area adjacent to the kitchen has a dining table for six plus seating for two at the kitchen island.

The bedrooms are simple with very light decorative touches. Closets are equipped with hangers and lots of storage available. Each bedroom is individually temperature controlled for your sleeping comfort.

The WOW factor just doesn’t end in this house. Have a long soak in the jacuzzi tub or enjoy the shower panel with multiple settings including misting jets after your journey to Elliot Lake. This spa like bathroom with towel warmer and shower lighting effects is designed to soothe your soul and rejuvenate your spirit.

Covid19 has played some mean tricks with the transformation of The Phoenix House and has delayed among other things, installing the gas line for the fire place and laundry. Sadly the fireplace cannot be lit at this time and prevents use of the main floor laundry . We hope you understand and forgive this during these times.

Whether you are staying for a northern adventure, business trip, shopping for a new home, a local in need of a caregiver respite stay, or even just a break from your own four walls, we are certain the Phoenix House will still be a 5 star stay with all that it offers to its guests nonetheless.

Guest access

Guests have access to entire main floor and driveway. We do not recommend accessing the backyard at this time due to steep slope without stairs.

Other things to note

Please note that COVID19 has created some delays in the transformation of the property. Exterior landscaping and exterior esthetic flaws are still apparent. Don’t judge a book by its cover. As soon as you open the door you are entering a whole other story.
